Athens Conference on Advances in chemistry

An opportunity for dissemination of one of our demonstration cases in Athens.

The Athens Conference on Advances in Chemistry took place virtually, from March 10th to 14th, 2021. It brought together more than 250 participants from Europe and USA and over 400 students from all over the world. The Conference was organised by the department of Chemistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

On Saturday 13th, EYDAP, one of our partners for the demonstration case in Athens presented a paper called “Sewer mining technology: a sustainable solution for urban recreation areas irrigation” during one of the sessions. The authors discussed the performance of the compact sewer mining unit that is located in the EYDAP’s Research and Development Premises. This technology will be applied to produce reclaimed water from sewers to be used for urban irrigation and fertilisation.
