Communities of practice at the center of circular water solutions

Communities of Practice (CoPs) have been a pillar of NextGen’s drive to create a transition towards the circular economy that is shared and supported widely. It is now the topic of a Wiley Water Journal publication by the NextGen team.

This paper asserts the ability of CoPs to enable diverse stakeholders to engage and share different perspectives, interests, and needs, and ultimately to co‐produce knowledge around water technologies.

It continues, to examine the evaluation of CoP performance to date; and propose a new evaluation framework for analysing social learning outcomes in CoPs and key success factors based on experiences across Europe in the NextGen project.
